Charissa Thompson
Thompson who resigned from FOX Sports for Yahoo Sports in 2010, as well as hosted Versus Sports. Thompson was the anchor of Versus' NHL studio coverage as well as recorded web-based videos for the incredibly popular Yahoo platform. She was also responsible for the site's presence at high-profile sporting events like the 2010 Winter Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl XLV and the BCS National Championship. The success she achieved on these two stages led her to be hired by ESPN as one of its hosts on the brand new afternoon show called "Numbers Never lie," beginning in August of 2011. The show was later changed to "SportsNation," she enjoyed a long-lasting run of success. Her departure from the network came at the time of FS1's debut at Los Angeles, May 2013 returning the city of Los Angeles. A sports fan at heart, Thompson has also shown an impressive range of skills to cross over into the entertainment realm of television. Following a string of temporary opportunities, she was named co-host on a regular basis for the evening edition of Hollywood newspaper "Extra," in June 2014. In her role as co-host the magazine, she also filmed in Universal Studios as well as host award shows, celebrity appearances and occasions regularly.
