Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is an British music producer and a vocalist. Harry Styles was one of the founding members of One Direction. He was born in Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England the 1st of February 1994, he's the son of Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School. In the school, three classmates of his created a band known as White Eskimo. They took home the Battle of Bands in 2009 due to their impressive results. The musician always had an interest in music. However, he would like to work as an attorney or a physical therapist. At one point, he worked as a part-time baker located in his hometown and hoped to assist economically at home. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition in which he performed Stevie Wonder's tune Is not She Lovely. The group was then forced to disband due to this. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles that he become member of the new group, One Direction. The other members were Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. The creation of the group became a reality in the year 2010 and the five youths were funded by Simon Cowell. The band played songs, such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler so the group was one of the contenders to win the competition. The band was in the third spot behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle, who won. However, Harry Styles and his group were not crowned winners, Cowell agreed to pay 2 million pounds for One Direction to sign with Syco Records. Syco music label.
